Job Description

**Job Title: Event & Administrative Coordinator**

We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Event & Administrative Coordinator to join our team! Our organization is a global leader in process safety engineering, dedicated to providing innovative and reliable industrial hose safety systems that protect people, property, and the environment. This is an onsite entry-level position that requires strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

**Position Details:**
- **Type:** Full-time (Part-time availability may be considered)
- **Pay:** $22 - $25 per hour
- **Benefits:** Excellent benefits package, including health care, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in coordinating logistics for industry conferences, trade shows, in-person meetings, and promotional events.
- Contribute ideas and support the planning and preparation for special events, including our exciting 20th-anniversary celebrations. This includes researching venues, vendors, caterers, and entertainment, as well as managing invitations and attendee lists.
- Coordinate event contracts, including the shipping and return of exhibit materials.
- Track expenses for all events in accordance with accounting guidelines, maintaining detailed and accurate records.
- Help develop and enhance our social media presence by increasing connections and engaging with followers when appropriate.
- Provide general administrative support as needed and assist with various projects as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with distributors to strengthen relationships and ensure smooth operations.
- Accurately document all communications while maintaining strict confidentiality.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Familiarity with event planning processes in a hospitality setting is preferred.
- Must have US work authorization.
- Strong organizational, communication, and comprehension skills.
- A professional demeanor and a positive attitude are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with the Windows Operating System.
